Food was just ok. We ordered takeout and only went because they had gluten free optio so. Not the best for takeout

Visited with a large group. Had to wait 40 minutes to be seated - the kids were getting very cranky while we waited too. Service was quite slow and our food took a long time to reach our table. I ordered the Beef Fajitas - the herb butter rice was under seasoned, as were the tacos.

Thanks for letting me know - We do get busy this time of year and if you have cranky kids that makes it even more of a challenge for the team. You already waited for a table and now once you have been sat every minute (kids are still cranky) can seem like two. We usually get it right and strive to deliver good old-fashioned hospitality. I was pleasantly surprised at how god it was since it seems very touristy. Indeed, I think a lot of the patrons visiting just came from the camel back resort around the corner. We dined in on a Thursday evening. We were told the wait would be an hour but only ended up waiting for about 15 mins which was nice since we were outside with 2 toddlers and a 5 yr old. Barley Creek is on the mountain road near Camelback Ski Area and yes some of the guests may be just visiting for the day - Having said that I'm of the opinion that every guest is a local - just some of the locals live a little further away. We keep coming back! A good bar atmosphere, dining rooms for food, or the pint size outdoor park for the whole family. This place is huge, tourist trap for sure, but they do a good job with service and food. I take all our guests here with confidence, everyone loves it

Thanks, Ashley, for the Five-Star shout out. The Pint Size Park and Biergarten is certainly one of kind. Not too many places have a legit regulation size wiffle ball stadium. When the weather is good guests can also enjoy our campsite dining at our S'mores concept.

12/3/22 First time here yesterday and apparently this is right near camelback ski resort. We ducked in here for lunch- on my friends recommendation. This is a brewery and I think my husband would enjoy it here. They have lots of growlers at all different price points. The menu isn't cheap by any means. (We do have a distillery and a wine expanded permit for everyone else). We know what our costs are, and our business model is geared to paying members of the team well. I was visiting Mount Pocono for the weekend with my boyfriend. We came here for dinner and it was delicious! The pretzel appetizer was amazing. I got the stuffed trout for dinner and it was one of the best things i've ever eaten. YUM!

Barley Creek definitely seems like the place to be in the area. We went on a Friday Night, and the huge parking lot was packed. Upon entering, we were told there would be about a 40 minute wait. This was not a problem since we were a group of 9. We were able to hangout near one of the bars and order some drinks and appetizers while waiting for our table to be ready. Barley Creek is one of the big food/drink spots in this are. There's a huge parking lot that was pretty full on a Friday night. When we got there we had to wait about 40 minutes for a table for 9. While waiting we were able to sit at one of the two bars and order drinks/appetizers Overall, the food was 5 stars, there's plenty of beer options, plenty of TVs to watch sports, and the bartender/waitresses were pleasant
