I just moved to Tannersville and this is starting to become my go to place for a beer. Good prices. Solid beer. Nice staff. Great atmosphere.

Business response:

Thanks Sea - Fantastic!!! Have you visited our Tasting Room down at the Crossings? Also the 1818 Deli & Catering Company (formally the Sullivan Kitchen) is out newest project that should be a lot of fun too. If you have not done so already - we have a Mug Club - loyalty program that has a lot of fun perks that work across all of the Barley Creek concepts! Cheers - Trip R.

Couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised! After an awful experience at our hotel restaurant, we decided to give Barley Creek a go. Not only was the service 1000xs better, so was the food! The prices were reasonable and their espresso martini was amazing. We will definitely stop back next time we're in the area! They don't take reservations, but the wait on a Friday night was a modest 30mins. Not bad at all for a party of five. Katie was absolutely lovely and service was excellent!

Business response:

This is one of my favorite reviews because of the staff shout out for Katie. :)

We eat here for breakfast and dinner when we stay at Mountain Springs. Both are great. Service is excellent and a nice selection of food. Pretzel appetizer is very good. I find the beer just ok, always seems sorta flat to me. Cocktails are good. Nice atmosphere, definitely recommend.

Business response:

Mt Springs is a great place. Thanks for finding Barley Creek. We recently took over the Deli on our road so look for good things to come from there soon - The 1818 Deli and Catering Company! Thanks Eric for your support and the five-star shout out. Cheers - Trip R.

Stopped here after going to Camel Back, based on other recommendations. It was just okay! The 3 stars are for the waitress, Dasha, she was great, her service was very good. Really wanted to try the Breweries Barley Creek Octoberfest, but they didn't have any left on tap, how do you not have enough of your own brand on tap. Had to try another brand, which was okay! The food was very average and was not hot enough. French onion soup was good. Halloween decorations were cool.

Business response:

Thanks for visiting and thanks for letting me know about your experience. When things don't go as planned Dasha is our first line of defense. She could have certainly figured out food temps to more your liking. Oktoberfest - almost made it to November. It was really good and we brewed more this year than previous years - note to the brewers - please don't run out of Oktoberfest until at least November. The beer list is pretty extensive and hope you found one you liked. Our Halloween decorations are really impressive. ... read more

Me and my friends just went to Camelback Mountain adventures, this brewery is very close to Camelback, we just happen to pass by this joint and have decided to check it out for a quick drink. I LOVE VISITING BREWERIES AND LOVE TRYING OUT BREWS !!! They have a gift shop, a tasting room, a restaurant, a bar and has an outside seating where you can enjoy live music playing, a really nice set-up. My friends and I opted to sit at the bar, service at the bar was friendly and quick. I ordered a pint of Iron arm Be... read more

Thanks Noel. Fantastic and appreciate the great shout out and glad you found us. Cheers Trip R.

Birthday celebration is not complete without passing by to a local brewery. It is the celebrant's trip, trying out a local beer. We get inside not to dine but to take a sip so the bar is the best seat for us. The boys enjoyed their brown ale and brought home a growler filled with it. Inside is a cute gift shop with clear ground floor showing the microbrewery tanks. Sadly, we did not have enough time to see a production rolling. Staff is nice and accommodating.

Business response:

Happy belated Birthday Lourdes - Appreciate your visit. Midday - midweek there's usually a brewer / distiller happy to show off some of the processes and production capabilities. Cheers Trip R.

First trip back here in 3+ years. Really loved the venue and the ambience. Seems they have now partitioned off some areas to provide a beer and spirits shopping nook, as well as another area to provide a bit more privacy to diners. To us, it has taken away from the charm of the venue. Onto the beer...one of our least liked aspects of previous visits was the lack of proper carbonization to the draft beers. Seems that has not changed. Rescue IPA, one of our favorite BC brews was totally flat today. No lacing, no body, no tast... read more

Business response:

Thanks for the review and I agree with a lot of your points. Training and a few BOH - proper (always wash the glass by hand when time permits - "4th step rinse off the sanitizing solution above and beyond bar glass cleaning techniques" Working on it. Respectfully, Trip R.

This was a great fine along the route 80 highway. Anybody wanting to get out of the disgusting habit of interstate fast food slop need look no further. Stop here... be rewarded. Delicious beer, amazing sandwiches, fresh salads, man this place has it done and done right. Huge setup with tons of space and fun. This is such a magnificent brewery to stumble into. Enjoy

Business response:

I am not going to cry. But I’m close. Great review. Thanks Nick ! Cheers Trip R.

The Barley Creek Brewing Company in Tannersville, PA, roughly midway along a long drive that I've had to do several times, so I've stopped 4-5 times and the best descriptors for it are mediocre and below expectations based on the attractive facilities and long list of house-brewed beers. Unfortunately, all of those I've tried really earned and leaned into their mediocre reviews on Untappd. I've had their burgers, pulled pork sandwiches, and cottage pie. All left me full but sad that I didn't know a better place along this ro... read more
