Last night air con went out, even the thermostat went black... so I called up Bayonet Plumbing, Heating, and AC to ask them for a service call. The lady told me about the possibility of it being a clogged condensation pipe. We went out and shop vac'd the pipe, flushed it out with the hose and low and behold it worked again!! Yeah!! Your company is awesome!

Bayonet installed our electric water heater around 2022. By 2025, it failed. The hardware was covered under warranty, but the labor was not. Bayonet charged $900 just for labor to replace the unit. The job took roughly 1.5 hours. This was a straightforward electric installation: no gas work, no expansion tank, and the emergency valve runs directly to the garage floor. No code upgrades or complex work were involved. While I understand overhead, supplies, and travel costs, $900 for a short, uncomplicated warranty replacement... read more

Business response:

Hello Thai, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We understand why the labor cost felt frustrating, especially when the water heater itself was covered under manufacturer warranty. As discussed, manufacturer warranties typically cover parts only. Labor reflects more than time on-site and includes licensed technicians, scheduling, travel, insurance, warranty coordination, and ensuring all work meets current safety and code requirements. All costs were reviewed and approved prior to completion. We appreci... read more

My HVAC system is still under warranty. Due to the recent storms that have impacted Florida my HVAC system stopped working. I called "Bayonet Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning" and they charged me $99 to have an "assessment of the unit" although I am still under warranty. They then communicated I needed a new compressor which was still under warranty. However, unless I agree to have their technician's replace the compressor they will not ship me the part. I also offered to pick-up the part since they are located nearby an... read more
