I had agreed to a deal before taking a drive to this dealer and they did not try to change anything
I had a wonderful experience. I got what I wanted, when I wanted it. Right then! haha. The team was great, they stayed after hours, 10pm on a Saturday, and even drove the car home for me, since I didn't do a trade in.
Bad business got a car with a coolant leak and tire monitor system on
I did not receive any service. A driver dropped off a new set of wiper blades at my house. When this unexpected offer was made, I clearly asked that the person would install them. I was assured that would happen. It didn't and the driver stated he couldn't install. I fail to see how offering this complimentary item benefits me when I then have to schedule a service appointment and drive to the dealership to have them installed.
They wanted 40 pages of mostly irrelevant paperwork, to be signed for a used car. An all-cash transaction required credit check authorization, paperwork referring to financing, authorization to share your personal info with their "affiliates" or third-parties, required registration in the origin state even though the car was being purchased out of state, etc. That required titling and registration means you pay taxes and fees in that state and in the destination state.
