Disappointment after disappointment. I was warned of this dealership but loved the car so much that I looked the other way. Now, after years of crumby service, continuous missed technical issues, relentless recalls, dishonest warranty coverage, disorganization, scheduling mishaps, miscommunications, and no focus on customer service I'm done. This is a horrible dealership. The staff are incompetent from their mechanics to their management. They knowingly commit sales fraud, contract fraud, and insurance fraud. The Service Department manager, Pat Treanor, Is a horrible man and operates very dishonorably and fraudulently. This dealership has had physical possession of my car since March 07th. Snakes in the grass. Run and go somewhere else. They’ll tell you any lie just in the name of making a sale.
When I first bought the car of my 2020 Kia soul, I had a recall on the engine they refused to fix it and it took them three months to fix it. I had to Fight with them. When I got it back, it was running smoothly November 2023. I got an oil change done by them and on December 1 of 2023 my oil plug went because they didn’t fascinate enough. I had to go to court and I’m continued to fight with them because I had to give my car back to the bank and now I ruined my credit and my boyfriend’s credit because I had to forfeit the car
RUN AWAY We bought a Sportage from them in 2017. Initially things were okay, though they had a problem with double-booking appointments (the on-line system didn't talk to the system the service reps used) and it took them years to figure it out. In the last few years, like others, we've run into issues with dropping the car off and being told it wouldn't be ready that day because they weren't able to order the parts in time. We bought a used Nissan Leaf from here last year. The service was fine, although we had to deal with the usual used car haggling. We had to wait a week to pick up the car because they were working on the brakes. When we picked it up, we saw that there were 500 more miles on it than when we bought it! Very infuriating.
We had a 1:30pm appointment and had to drop the car off the night before. We were told on the phone they would probably only need for 30 minutes. They never called with any updates or car is ready. They even leave for the day without updating their customers on vehicle status. Maybe they sell 2 many cars to give a xxxx. After owning 2 Kia’s they have been great cars however the service we have received we won’t be purchasing a 3rd one. Hello Burlington Hyundai!
I waited 4 weeks for my appointment. On the date of my appt. August 11, they had to order parts, on the 15th those parts were in and KIA service told me 1 to 2 days and it would be ready. I never heard back I called for 2 days and finally on the 3rd day I had to drive down to location to get answers regarding why the car wasn't completed. Be careful of this dealership. We saw a used car on their lot online advertised at one price and then when we went in the salesman said it was several thousand more. We pointed out the online price. He acted totally surprised. He went into a story about the General Manager 100 percent must have made a mistake and the mistake would be corrected by tomorrow but they would let us have it for the online price. Well the next day the price was the same. Still over market value. Sleazy.
