I want my money back. This was an absolute ripoff of an event. There was hardly any food at this event. Cheese, crackers, gummy bears, and popcorn don’t count as hors d'oeuvres. We had to leave to get real food for dinner. I asked to use my drink ticket on a beer instead of a sugary premade cocktail and the bartender rudely refused. That makes no sense. Very busy night. Over an hour wait between salad and main course. Dinner took over 3 hours.
The food was ok and the service was really nice but took FOREVER!!

I made the reservation noting that we were celebrating a birthday. We were also there to check out prior to having a small wedding ceremony dinner in July. When we arrived they made mention of the birthday right away. My daughter and I ordered one of their speciality martinis which was so disappointing we sent it back. No alcohol and an abundance of fake sour mix, awful and undrinkable. Throwing a dried lime in it and charging $18 did not help this poor concoction. We thought we had booked the price fixe Valentine's special, but were given a regular menu on the way in. There were no beers on tap as the taps were broken. The bottled beer my husband ordered instead, they were out of. Food was mediocre at best. We have had good food here in the past, but this experience was sub par.
Food came out cold rack of lamb had no taste just taste like meat
The evening was a complete disappointment! It was our friend’s birthday and which they acknowledged when we checked in, but otherwise ignored it! The prices are high which they are everywhere now, but the quality was poor. I got bolognese which was so spicy it made my mouth burn and was made with a gummy pasta instead of the usual spaghetti or penne. My friend got the chicken which was dry. The waitress was rude! For the past 5-6 years, we’ve celebrated our anniversary at Bettini’s in the Harbor View Hotel. We’ve attended festivities, I’ve even spoken at one as an author. This year was very different. I must say, this was one of the most disappointing experiences we’ve ever had at a high end restaurant. Bettini’s looked the same, beautiful bar, booths and tables. The food and service were mediocre at best. I ordered swordfish and promptly sent it back. The risotto was over seasoned and crunchy and the Boursin potatoes were bland. The meal was not worth the cost snd I will not be returning to this restaurant 👎🏾.
