They have mimosas, beers, and premade mixers. They nailed the hollandaise - for real! They make their own omg fresh orange juice every morning (and with the mimosa.... oy, heaven). They have nice sized coffee mugs. They have historical news stories on the front of their menu. They have a published code of conduct on their placemats. Overall the food is as expected from a diner. We were seated promptly, our order was taken quickly and the food came out quick. Not the worlds best food but I'm not paying for the best either. Steak was slightly overdone but the experience was definitely on par with my expectations. Slick Nick the waiter delivered prompt courteous service. Overall I'd recommend this place and I'll be back.

I went here the other day for breakfast with a small group, and we were seated right away (although it did get super busy once we were done, as there were maybe 20 people waiting for tables at around 9:00 AM). Granted, it was a Saturday so that's to be expected. In regards to the food, I don't think I ordered right...I got the avocado toast with a side of chicken apple sausage. Ordered a Shasta scramble and biscuits and gravy with country potatoes and only received the Shasta scramble. I tried to reach my door dasher only to get Spanish recording. Called the diner and they were happy to complete my order but I'd have to pick it up. They should've gotten my order right TO BEGIN WITH!!!! After eating what I did get from black bear diner, NO THANKS! Way too greasy and salty. Couldn't even eat it! I'm sure the biscuits and gravy were less than subpar. People, save your money and eat somewhere else!

Service was good. This is about the food. Absolutely disgusting. They need to close before someone gets sick. It's declined in the last month to the point I felt I needed to leave review. We ordered breakfast and it wasn't even luke warm. The hash browns tasted freezer burnt and you couldn't eat. Sausage and bacon were not fresh, like they had been sitting all day. 45 minute wait at the table for a mid omelette. Never going here again. Ever again. Never saw the waitress again until I asked someone about our order.
