Sloppy Service. New York Steak Was So Tough I Couldn't Finish It. Took Over 20 Minutes To Get Drinks. The "Food Window" Was So Full Of Food With At Least 8 Waiters Standing Around. I've Been To Black Bear Diner Before In Vacaville & Vallejo & Never Experienced Horrible Service Like I Did Here. Save Your Money & Drive The Extra Couple Miles. NOT WORTH IT!!!
Service was horrible. Waitress gave an attitude the whole time. Waited 15 mins before being seated then another 15 mins before getting asked if we wanted anything to drink and then another 15 mins before even getting our order taken. Waited 25 mins to even get our food and it was not hot at all. They weren't short staffed because there was like 3 or 4 people chatting behind the counter. Really disappointed probably won't go back. Don't waste your money here.
1st time there. We had breakfast for dinner. There was a lot of food and it was good with the exception of the gravy for the biscuit. The biscuit was fabulous. The gravy was Horrible!!! The gravy was super watery. I couldn't eat it . It was a waste of a dish of gravy and a disappointment so hopefully Black Bear cooks improve the gravy. Other than the gravy the food was really good and the interior was cute and cozy.
Food was ok. We had burgers. The service was not good at all. We sat for more than 10 minutes before our order was taken. We got very little attention while we were seated. Had to ask for drink refills. No one brought our check. We probably won't go back.
Went there this weekend , food was good but the place was a mess, floors dirty , we had to ask one of the employees if they can clean the floors. Its really not fun eating in an environment were there is food and ice all over the floors.

My first time at Big Bear Diner & I had the ginormous hamburger which in my opinion was tasteless and without seasonings. It was also very gray in color. I loved the onion rings but I don't think I will have another burger 🍔 here.
Service was beyond slow & the food . Dry w 0 flavor!
We have been to many black bears and enjoy the food. Yesterdays visit was not good. Our waiter took our orders, then disappeared. Came back with food all incorrect, and disappeared again. Had to flag down another waitress for refills and to send back our food. We will not return to this location.
