Fantastic diner! Stopped here while driving through. Food was delicious! Even my picky kid that doesn't ever eat all of her food actually ate her entire meal. Kids loved the pancakes (bear cub pancake and chocolate chip pancakes). French toast was a great classic French toast. My husband got the chicken fried steak and eggs and absolutely loved it. Everything was delicious! We had the coconut pie, pancakes, eggs and the most wonderful breakfast sausage patties.
Very Good restaurant, very unique and I love the set up with the newspaper being the menu. It was an amazing burger as well and our server was great. Decent place for a quick meal.
My dad took my sisters and I here for dinner and it was absolutely amazing! Jeremy, our server, was so patient and willing to adjust anything in the menu to our liking. The food was EVEN BETTER than it looked. We left full and happy! I've never had pancakes as good as these!
Really love this, Black, Bear, Diner and Cypress always good food good service. Kameron is always one of the best. She has served us many many times Dionne is always great very friendly as is Michelle and the other servers that were on shift was Ashley and Kimberly Always friendly and polite all In all well respected Employees great cooks and always great quality service will be coming back for sure.
First time I've been to this diner...but, it won't be the last. Had lunch. Friendly staff. Great food. Try the grits loaded with cheese and bacon. Excellent.

Great classic greasy spoon diner. Good breakfast. Excellent service. Our server Kameron did a fantastic job and was very attentive. BBD might not be the most innovative restaurant but what they do, they do well.
