Food is really good and portion sizes are really good for the price, although the service is pretty rocky and could honestly be a lot better the food (especially breakfast) is delicious. The ambiance reminds you of an old diner with a hint of a cabin woody feel. All around I'd rate it a 7.8.
Had breakfast here this morning with my family and Tiara waited on us. What a blessing to have an amazing server like her on your staff, the food was great but her service is what made the experience so delightful. We will definitely come back just for her.
As we got out the car we can smell the delicious food! We walked in and we were seated immediately (I think we just missed the morning rush). Our waitress greeted us right away. After we ordered our food came out right away and it was all cooked just the way we requested. The sweet cream pancakes were better than the French toast so I would opt for those instead. Nice ambiance and food priced for family dining. Lots of items on the menu, choices for small, medium, large plates; pretty much standard American dining. We would eat there again. I will say, we got Take Out a few times during the Pandemic from here, and it was very good, more like a 4-5 star rating.
We have been coming for breakfast for the past few years since they opened. This Black Bear location has great staff. Especially Kameron who goes out of her way to make sure people are taken care of even when staff is short. When we come here, Kameron always works above and beyond to be sure we have good service and make sure our order meets our expectations. Don't hesitate to come on in for an enjoyable visit and good food. Thank you Kameron for taking care of us. Happy New Year!
Food tasted fresh. I had the fried steak and it was delicious!! Service was perfect. Wasn't too packed at the time I went.
