Would you like some styrofoam melted into your food? Just ordered $120 worth of breakfast and most had to go in the trash due to cheap styrofoam packaging that what must have used to be hot (but now ice cold) food melted into. Outrageously expensive for the quality and quantity of food you get. This was one of our favorite places to order from 2 years ago but it has gone majorly down hill and the obvious corners they are cutting deeply impact the quality of their food and drinks (apple juice is basically water, mold on fruit... read more

We ordered breakfast 12/14/21 for an executive meeting. One of my managers sent me a picture of the avocado toast. I am not in the same state so I could not handle the correction except to talk to the manager on duty at Danville, CA location. She said the avocado oxidizes when out for delivery. Well, the picture shows that the avocado was not fresh but old and black. Who would eat this? It was not a fresh avocado at all! Shame on you for serving something so disgusting to a customer. I ordered the turkey meal and it was processed turkey deli meat. Not worth the price. This restaurant used to be good pre pandemic. The breakfast meals are not bad, but the dinner meals are horrible. Spend your money elsewhere.

This has got to be the worse Black Bear we've been to! The manager couldn't even get a valid gift card to go through. Since a line was forming I didn't force the issue. Not like he was unapologetic either and just told me to call the number on the card. Didn't offer any help whatsoever. Other than that food was OK, not as good as pre-pandemic but the waiter was nice enough.

Went there this morning 11/01/21 (Monday). It wasn't even that busy as far as dine in customers. Took forever to be greeted, seated, order taken. Then over 30 minutes to get food. Multiple tables complaining. Waiting for their food, the check, more coffee, etc. Never took our dirty plates away. The wait staff was apologetic and said they had a lot of Door Dash orders to tend to. Maybe they should stop taking those for a few hours and service the people physically sitting in their business.
