Black Bear Diner never disappoints. We also had great food, Micheal was really attentive and gave us incredible service.
Have been here a couple of times, and I must say, worth the wait! We've been lucky enough to have Mike as our waiter, and let me tell you, he is amazing and always with the best service and incredible attitude... he makes you feel welcome takes the time to give you recommendations if you need them...Love it!

We came in last week an hour before closing with a party of 10+ people and Angie provided great service! Food was good, service was great!
Great food! Flavorful burger, soft and fluffy cornbread, and the unique taste of their signature huckleberry ice cream was a delight. The service was fantastic! Our server Mike was upbeat, friendly, and seemed to genuinely want to make our visit a happy one. He even told us a cute bear joke at the end. Speaking of bears, I was charmed by the bear-themed decor and woodsy cabin feel of the place, it reminded me of visiting mountain towns like Big Bear. I would enjoy going again. :)

The food was looked and tasted amazing. The service was fast and Mike our server was really nice and funny. The music and the paintings really added a nice little fun to the eating part. I got the Chicken Avocado Club with Fries and Oh My God was it AMAZING! I would reccomend you come here anytime you can.
Service here is excellent but the food was alright. We waited 20 minutes to be seated. I did like the cornbread here but that was it.
