Came for breakfast with 3 adults and 2 kids on a Saturday. The place was fairly busy and it took about 30 minutes for us to be seated. We ordered the Bigfoot chicken fried steak, the breakfast club melt, and the chicken fried steak omelet. We loved the sweet cream pancakes as well. The portion sizes here are massive! Their breakfast is good. Last time I went for lunch I ordered the meatloaf, 10 minutes later they came to tell me they were out. I ordered their fried fish, to me, no flavor.
Service was good but the food was not up to par on this visit. I guess I'll stick to breakfast!
Plates are well proportioned .... Make sure you go with a big appetite .....Avocado Toast1 Egg* & 2 Slices of Thick-cut Smoked Bacon
The food was excellent, the service was good by waitress. However I was sat under a leaking air conditioner vent that dripped on me and my clothes and when we tried to check out the register computer and was restarted several times. An additional 30 minute wait. The attendant was apologetic however I was already upset by being under a leaking AC vent. The food was the saving grace.
First time eating at any Black Bear Diner. I was able to get seated right away at the counter, although there were tables available as well. Friendly and fast service; my order came out very quickly, and the food (Joe's Hobo Omelette) was hot and delicious! The biscuits are quite large, so be prepared for that if ordering biscuits here. Emily was great. Brought food on time and quickly. Food was good always a great experience here at black bear.

We went on a Saturday morning around 10 AM. The wait was a bit less than 15 minutes. Becky was our waitress she was very attentive, nice and respectful. We never had to look for her since she was always checking in on us making sure we had everything we needed. For food we ordered The Grizz, classic French toast, and sprinkle cakes (off the kids menu). For drinks we had coffee, water and orange juice.
