I was excited to hear of Black Bear opening here, as my wife and I have always liked the Murrieta location. However, the quality of the food here has been inconsistent. Additionally, we have never been able to order for delivery via the app. It always takes me all the way through the process before informing me that "we are unable to process this order for delivery -- please try again later or try another location." My family and I dined here on a Sunday morning. They were pretty busy so we let them know we would sit outside if available. We were able to be seated right away but we had to wait about 15 minutes for a server to come out and talk to us. I ordered the BLT and fries, the bread was really stale and tasted like they made my meal first and let it sit a while. There were only 2 small slices of bacon on the sandwich and the fries were very bland and cold. This was my first time at this location, and I usually get breakfast when... read more

We order our food, my son ordered Bob's big bear burger and it tasted like it was cook with the fish. And our friend ordered the Santa Maria tri-tip and asked for it to be medium well and mashed potatoes and mac and cheese, the meat was over cooked and the potatoes tasted like soap, the machine and cheese was dry and didn't taste good. The service OK she was polite. We went to the restaurant because it wasn't busy and was relaxing so we went in and got bad food. And we paid a lot for bad food. 1-16-2025
