They need a new manager!!! Juan is absolutely rude. When this first opened , they told me many times that this was a dog friendly patio. I have followed blackbear diner for many years and have eaten at many throughout the country, where this is usually the policy. The service started off well, seated quickly. Once seated we sat for over 15 mins, two servers walked by and never acknowledged us. No drink orders were ever taken. Not even a hello. It was not busy in this restaurant, we were seat just before 5:00 pm on a Thursday. We ended up walking out. The manager offered to buy us a meal, but after waiting 15 mins, two servers walking by us with out even so much as a hello, no drink orders taken we didn't want to wait around, we had two small children with us who were hungry also,... read more

Today my wife went there the first time with 12 friends. The waiter was very rude to her. She simply asked to have her check separate. He was mad because others in the group said the same, and the waiter didn't want to hear it. Well, she didn't hear them, so she didn't know they told him. The waiter snapping at her rudely and speaking down to her is the wrong approach. All of the husbands are very angry (we found out later). I love going to the Black Bear Diners in Las Vegas, great food, great service. My last 2 visits to this location in Menifee have been so bad that I will not be returning. I went there the last 2 Fridays for dinner with my grandson because he likes it there. I was concerned when I pulled into the parking lot at around 5:00 pm and there were only a few cars.
