I've been to other locations with this same chain which made me want to visit the Mesquite location, but it was a mistake. It is poorly run, menu was similar but overall quality was bad along with service. Our server with the three inch black dagger nails seemed like she was on drugs, couldn't remember anything and hard to find when we needed refills on iced tea. Dessert was cobbler served in a tin foil cup inside of a bowl, and we ordered two with ice cream and got one with none. It was dry with cheap pastry on top, the ins... read more
First the server didn't know what came with what I ordered. Second the ac was blasting cold like the north pole and leaking had to move. Then when the food came it dint taste good I could have got a frozen food meal and cooked at home and tasted better than what they serve. The cup of chili tasted like a can chili from the store the potatoes tasted like they just got them straight out of the ground and dint wash the dirt off them the cornbread tasted like a jiffy corn muffin mix and the "bigfoot" was cooked to crispy..don't ... read more
The service is bad. Had to give a one star because I couldn't give a zero stars. It was my first time going there and I'll never go again. The waitress took over 15 minutes to take our drink order when there was only two other tables she tended too. Not sure if she was new or not so we gave her the benefit of the doubt but once we received our 3 drinks she had forgot our water (which we had reminded her twice about) and she also forgot straws and napkins which we also kindly reminded her about as well. Then she said she was ... read more
Waited for 30 minutes and the only thing we were able to order was orange juice. Would try again, but not on a Saturday. Definitely was understaffed for the amount of patrons.
Took us a while to be seated & before anyone even saw us and another party that was before us. Hardly anyone was there. We received our Chicken Fried steak, which was cold and also freezer burned. The eggs were scrambled and were half done. This place was nice when they first opened now has gone down. Need to work on customer service & workers should not serve food with long nails & no gloves. #DressCodeCheck
Very poorly ran and employees at hostess stand very rude. We checked in and waited only to be told that we cancelled the table reservation. Hostess argued with my husband. Will not go back!
I am working at restaurants for over 15 years so I know what the service should be ,,First and last time here !!! slow day 30 min to get a server 30 min to bring a drink and 1 hour later they never bring our food,, this makes me mad because I have my 1.5 year baby and he was so hungry but we just left. We couldn't wait any more time
Let me start by saying if I could leave ZERO stars I would!! My husband and I took our 3 grown children and two young grandchildren here for Thanksgiving yesterday. The wait was not terrible-about 30 minutes even though there were plenty of large tables sitting empty. Got seated and the waitress took our drink order. Drinks arrived quickly and she took our order. We waited over 30 -45 minutes for our food. When it came out we still had not received our soups that were the appetizer with the Thanksgiving meals they were servi... read more
The food was delicious; however, the service was lousy. We also was charged for a brownie which we didn't get plus we paid for a chocolate cream pie. Instead we got coconut. At least the atmosphere was good.
