New location opening today! Atmosphere was fun and inviting! Everyone was happy and helpful! Food is always plentiful! Come in hungry, leave full with a Togo bag! Dee was our server! She was amazing! Checked out with Lisa and she recommended the grits for the next time! Love the location since this one is closer to the house! Welcome Black Bear Diner to this of town!
they have the WORSE wait time. totally the managers fault. leadership reflects attitude.
My wife and I only experienced breakfast at Black Bear. We decided to try the All-u-can eat fish. Our waiter had several piercing around his face. Midway thru dinner, my wife noticed one of the young man face piercing was leaking a little blood. Then she noticed a drop of blood on her plate. She went to the RR to regurgitate. My plate did not have the extra ketchup, LOL. I paid and asked for a to-go container, just in case my wife get hungry later. I went to retrieve my car and droved to the front door. I showed my wife the... read more
What a bad place to eat. took forever to get our lunch. they were out of the strip steak, was offered two little steaks in its place. was there for lunch and had to leave with our order to go as it took over 30 min to get our food. lunch should be faster than this. I'll go to city base as they seem to have it a bit more together.

Well this was our 2nd time visiting here. Not a good experience. Found hair in food and over cooked and burnt hash browns. Manager did offer to replace hash browns and did. Customer service was subpar but overall it was not a good visit. Hopefully they will fix these issues soon.
Everything was great up until our server tipped herself. When it came time to pay Hailey G that works off of military drive asked my husband if he wanted a receipt and he said no. She than proceeded to tell us that the tip was added in. We both looked confused because she never handed us anything to write a tip. She handed us an itemized receipt before that. We wanted to make sure that she was getting tipped. So we asked for our receipt. She added a $17 and some change tip. I was confused and asked why the tip was added in... read more
Prime rib was the worst I've ever seen, it says fresh carved . And it looked like it's been out and then they threw it on the grill and over cooked it.... Not happy with this whole experience. After I showed the waitress how it is supposed to look like, she still brought me an over cooked piece of meat. And after the third attempt it was still not what prime rib is supposed to look like...Black Bear do better!!!!! Worst experience ever
Sad to say this place has experienced a decline in their service. I took my family to eat on a Thursday night afternoon my kid's baseball. Naturally we were hungry and looking for a good meal. The last time we visited this place it went well but not this go around, unfortunately. The staff was more like a skeleton crew and seemed overwhelmed. There were plenty of open table but not enough workers. After 45 mins of waiting for a half full restaurant, we had to leave. I don't see us going any time soon.
