The food was great but management was unprofessional. Overheard her rude comments about customers. My eating was unpleasant because of the manager. Hopefully she'll be more professional.

Our family took our mother for dinner on 08/29/25 for her 83rd birthday. This was the first time visiting Black Brear and will be the last. We stood unacknowledge at the front for 10 minutes while the staff was playing grab ass in the back of the house. This should of been our first clue to leave. We were finally seated and it got worse from there. I think it depends on who the cookie is. We've nearly eaten there once a week but for two times it has not been up to the quality that we are used to. I had breakfast there today for the veggie scramble. It was very subpar. I wish I knew what days were their good days

My wife and I only experienced breakfast at Black Bear. We decided to try the All-u-can eat fish. Our waiter had several piercing around his face. Midway thru dinner, my wife noticed one of the young man face piercing was leaking a little blood. Then she noticed a drop of blood on her plate. She went to the RR to regurgitate. What a bad place to eat. took forever to get our lunch. they were out of the strip steak, was offered two little steaks in its place. was there for lunch and had to leave with our order to go as it took over 30 min to get our food. lunch should be faster than this. I'll go to city base as they seem to have it a bit more together.

Well this was our 2nd time visiting here. Not a good experience. Found hair in food and over cooked and burnt hash browns. Manager did offer to replace hash browns and did. Customer service was subpar but overall it was not a good visit. Hopefully they will fix these issues soon.
