Service was bad, food was cold and not cooked properly. Bacon not cooked right and sausage wasn't done. The bacon was sent back twice. The waitness wasn't friendly and was rude. There was never any water brought to table and waitness never asked if we wanted water. It was the worst service I ever had at the restaurant. It was my friend's first time at the restaurant. Your service was the worst. One half hour before waitress showed at table. Brougjt friend to experiance black bear and he was disappointed. This is the second bad experience we've had with black bear dinners. You need to improve your staff
For starters by taking my order ,orders were being taken of people after me ,I wasn't checked on ,and just eventually walked out
When I arrived the counter was empty and there was one placemat and setting, so I sat there. There appeared to be 2 service staff. One was reluctantly seating incoming patrons(seemingly almost under protest) and the other disappeared for several minutes at a time. Another dinner free of charge at your Emeryville Ca location where they treat you a customer. I sat with my meal only one glass of water was never asked if I wanted a refill(clearly my glass was empty) from 4:42 pm until 5:05 pm when I had to get up to pay my bill without my bill. The restaurant was near empty(so there was no excuse). I notice how friendly and helpful to the gentleman who did not look like me were. I am writing this as I'm sitting in your restaurant. My family has enjoyed BBD in many locations in different states & when we found out you opened this location we were excited as we visit O-town a few times during football season. Unfortunately it took 15 to take our order. Another 10 minutes to get water & coffee- only after asking the hostess. We just got our food after being here 45 minutes!! We have a plane to catch & will have to eat super fast. Very disappointed. Sorry

Arrived at your location by Oakland coliseum at 11:15, poo ut my name on the wait list and was told it would not be that long. A couple that came in after me was sat before me. When I asked how much longer the wait was told 15 min. I explained that I had already waited 15 min. When seated waited a addition 5 min to come and asked what I waited to drink. Slow service, other diners complained about long waits (45min) for their meals. After sitting down 10 minutes later I went to the front asking for some to take our drink orders. Anothe 10 min later one iced tea came out followed by 10 minutes for a shake. The meal order for three did not have the side salad delivered until asking when the meal arrived. I ordered the Mediterranean Salad to go and when I open the salad it didn't have the olives and the dressing on it. Then I tried calling the restaurant they never picked up the phone. I am very disappointed in the service and food
