I have ordered twice from this place and both times they didnt have the items on their menu. the first time they gave a full refund with no choice of something else. the second time, when I ordered two pies and they didnt have them, they were told two cobblers. they only gave one. horrible experience! wont be ordering from them again!
I love Black bear Diner. Unfortunately the service last night was very poor, you would think the manager would have come out to help as they were understaffed. We asked for straws for our drinks, we didn't get them until almost the end of our meal. Our salads came out after the main course and only because we reminded the server that we hadn't received them yet.
Food tasted terrible. Fries tasted bland of old oil. Chicken was over cooked fat. Cooked our eggs wrong and we could see the cook complaining when our waitress went to ask for new ones. Service was meh. No refills and just overall not friendly. My husband and I have great memories of the location from a year ago. But we definitely won’t be returning.
bad everything, always loved this place in lake havasu arizona, hate it in utah
Hopefully the picture of the meat from our dinner attached to this review. Stopped in last Sunday night for dinner and ordered the daily special, prime rib. We asked for baked potatoes. I initially asked for a medium cook but was told by the waitress it only comes one way, no requests. Don’t mind that if it tastes good. Waitress told us it was taking longer to get our dinner as was waiting for the potatoes to cook; don’t mind waiting to get cooked food. Then the dinner was brought to us and was shocked as could not tell the... read more
We waited about 20-25 minutes for our food. The table that was seated after us got their food first. My plate of food sat under the warmer for a good ten minutes because they had to remake my husbands meal and it still was not made to order. The manager came over and stated the food was freshly made and brought out right away but clearly was not. The omelet was barely warm. She offered to remake it but I didn’t want to wait another 10-15 minutes for food. My father in law stated we shouldn’t have to pay for my meal because... read more
Ordered a to go order Friday. Did not get one of our salads, the one we did get did not come with the toppings we asked for. We did not get either of our cornbread muffins that were supposed to come with both dinners. We asked for extra sour cream for our potato, did not get. We also asked for extra dressing, but we didn't get the salad, so the fact we didn't get the dressing, whatever. Our meals were not cheap. Disappointed. In addition when my husband was picking up our order he was pushed to the back even though he was f... read more
Food is over priced and the food is not good. three strikes you're out!
Wish we had never gone in here tonight. At 7:30 PM they were out of clam chowder, turkey and hushpuppies. The fish was overcooked to rock hard and cold. The tri tip was had one piece sold grissel. The broccoli was mush. Never going back!
