I like Black Bear it's good, it's not OMG but it's solid diner food. Thus far everything I've tried I have liked, which it not a lot since I'm a creature of habit. CFS is my go to both dinner and breakfast. Tonight I tried their tri-tip. At first I was a little disappointed in the serving size( yeah i totally want to start bringing a scale to ensure i'm close to that 10oz) but it's not fair since a CFS does cover the entire plate and makes it look huge. Wasn't too long of a wait for a Saturday morning so that was nice! We checked in and waited for probably less than 15 minutes. We ordered the chocolate chip pancakes, which I was a bit confused why they came with a few on the top rather than cooking it into the pancake. My bf got "burn baby burn" which was a chicken fried steak with pickled onions on a biscuit. The steak was meatloaf essentially. Biscuit was huge! Tasted really good.
