This place is a joke. With two other options in San Antonio, avoid this location at all cost. The service is appalling. Waited several minutes with no help only to be placed on a fifteen minute wait list. I guess Kevin felt overwhelmed with the eighteen people in this restaurant. I counted since I had so much time. Walked on Sunday seated our group of 4 quickly. Restaurant was not busy. Floors were dirty, needing to be swept. Several tables needing to be bused. Waitress took our beverage order. That came out quickly. She then took our food order. We waited and waited. Group that came in after us got their food and we were still waiting. Same dirty tables still dirty. Staff standing around talking. We gout our order. My fries were barely warm. The bowls of chili the same and chicken fried steak and sides were warm at best.

Came to eat at 7:30pm November 16th 2024 was greeted by a rude little girl in glasses wasn't friendly from the get go sits us in a table in the smallest section of the restaurant where they packed everyone in because they don't want to clean I politely requested to sit at a nearby booth that I could literally see from where I was but because they want to close all sections off so they can cut out early I could understand if it were 9pm (they close at 10) but it's still early very disappointed they rudely denied me couldn't b... read more

We cannot fathom why so many people have told us good things about this place. Finally tried for the first time yesterday and would never eat here again. My husband, who is not a picky person AT ALL and never sends food back, said "I never complain about food and this is disappointing." He ordered the Chicken fried steak that looked a premade frozen one you can probably buy at a grocery store, and fried. The gravy sat like a congealed glob on top. So the restaurant is very nice itself love the way it is designed and has a nice atmosphere, service was good I have no complaints there, friendly staff, my complaints come in when it comes to the drink and food, my wife ordered a mocha cold brew which sadly is hersheys syrup, a syrup you mix with milk in a coffee that's just a no go, my cold brew didn't taste any better and had a chemically taste to it doesn't seem like it's made in house, I order the build your own with scrambled eggs, chicken sausage and biscuits and grav... read more
