Walked in around 1:45pm sat down. Waitress took our order. We then proceeded to wait 45 minutes for a salad and and omelet. (Mind you it's not packed and not busy). After receiving our food I then had to wait another 10 minutes for the missing toppings on my salad. So we have now waited an hour to be able to eat our food. Not to mention the table in front of us had many issues with the same waitress so we were not the only ones. Being from Alaska, I was really looking forward to this place. I was missing the style and decor. A few of my colleagues and I ordered for lunch from their website and I went to pick it up. I set the pick up time for 11:15 and arrived on the dot . My first impression was that they do not keep to-go orders under a warmer; they are left in a brown bag on the counter. Walking in felt like a wooded diner which fits the name. Lots of branded merchandise when you enter too. Service could have been better. The waiter kept second guessing or making sure we wanted the items we ordered. Multiple times kept insisting on ordering the cheapest option even though we didn't want it. It got borderline offensive at that point. Food was delivered he forgot our silverware. Took seven minutes to return with our silverware. Might give the newer location a try.

My wife and I along with two friends went to the SE. Military Dr. location for breakfast. The biscuits were huge, but they were cold and hard, and our meals did not come out hot. Our waitress was sweet and kind, but it seems she might've had more tables than she could handle due to our food being more on the cold side than warm! I will have to flip a coin to see if I go back!
