I ate at Black Bear Diner twice this week, dinner with family & breakfast with my friend and both were 5 star experiences. The staff was absolutely delightful! For Dinner our waitress was McKinsey, I think she is my favorite waitress of all time from any restaurant ever (I am 60). Today Vincent was our server, he was on top of everything and very pleasant. The General Manager was Shaun. Black Bear is somewhere I want to go back to again and again. The food was good, I like the menu a lot, there is something for everybody.

My family had dinner here Saturday (5/8/21) night to celebrate Mother's Day. The food was very tasty and the portions were great for the price. I had fried chicken and it was just as good as what I had at a fancy restaurant in Mill Valley a few months ago. Their shakes and pies are delicious! Our server, Vince, was amazing. He was friendly, funny, courteous and attentive. We will be going back.

I came here to work & eat breakfast. WiFi down speed & cellular up/down is great here; the music they play helps separate from nearby conversations. Good for working while eating when it's not busy, which is definitely at least weekdays right now. Great for healthy & filling food -- I got the Denver omelette (no cheese, add spinach/bell pepper/tomatoes) with strawberries & whole wheat.

I took my parents here on our drive back to Fairfield from SF to wait out the rush hour traffic. The waitress greeted us immediately at the door. She was very friendly and polite. Our meals were very delicious and my parents really enjoyed the experience and food. The portions are humongous! (For my parents at least, and they ordered the half size). My mom and I were finishing up our errands for the day and we decided to get lunch and we wanted to do dine inwe found that Black Bear diner was doing the dining and they will have a full menu on the 24th of March but their menu was still full of choices.... We have the French dip and the turkey club avocado. The only thing better than the food was the amazing server we had her name was Lupita She was funny charismatic and really good at her job! Keep up the good work lupita management give her a raise!

Lupita and the cooks served the best food at Black Bear Diner. Chili burger with cheese and onions. Taco salad with chili. Yumm

Went into the local black bear this Morning to met a girlfriend. What an excellent experience. Staff was following safety guidelines and were kind. The manager Sean was amazing and I could tell he cares about the service and food the comes out. Clean, quick service and amazing home cooked food.

We are a family of 5, and 3 being teenage boys, so the portion size is perfect and we love this place! Excellent food to go and we live 5 minutes away. We tried most of the meals and loved EVERYTHING! Absolutely delicious no matter what you order. I don't understand the harsh reviews-I'm glad Black Bear Diner is in my neighborhood! We order food to go 2-3 times a week and never disappointed.

Great food. My favorite lunch item is any of their burgers.. All time favorite Black Bear burger would be customized Bacon, avocado, cheese burger with extra cheese(pepper jack and cheddar) & French Fries if course come as an option as a side.[Sweet Potato Fries and Onion Rings also tasty and available] Breakfast all day long!
