I have never tried BBD because I just have an aversion to all chain restaurants. They all seem to taste like the same tasteless food. But since I have been ordering out so much w/ the pandemic, I was running out of options close by and really felt like a sandwich. Me and my family eat here and love it! Everyone is nice and Accommodating! We had a thanksgiving meal there , happy they were there open!
So we tried Black Bear Diner for the thanksgiving day. Surprisingly, with reviews I was skeptical to order, but that was one of the best choices I have ever made in my entire life., everything was made for us as easy as you can think of. Each plate was coming with 2 sides , and each portion was enough for one plus some sort of pumpkin cake and a salad. Truly enjoyed each bite of my coarse . Definitely recommended

Basing this review almost entirely on the service. I wish I would have got the name of the gentleman that helped me out so I could give him a shoutout by name. The food is decent and usually my go to hangover spot. I placed an order through their website today for delivery. Unbeknownst to me, when you place an order for delivery through the Black Bear Diner website, it places the order through Door Dash for them to deliver. Amazing service, delicious food. Ever time I come in I feel like I a part of the family. Thank you guys for the delicious food. I recommend the their chicken fried steak for breakfast
We just ordered a family breakfast-for-dinner from here during the pandemic, and the pancakes were SO GOOD. Oh my gosh. The whole family was delighted with how good everything was, and the curbside pickup (call when you arrive!) was flawless. We will absolutely be returning soon!
I love greasy independent diners. This is a chain but feels different than a Denny's. I love the adorable bear decor and the food is always plentiful and delicious. This is a great place for breakfast! The wait staff gets overwhelmed sometimes but I haven't run across anyone that wasn't doing the best they can. If you're looking for a froo froo breakfast where people kiss your ass, go somewhere else. If you want a no frills delicious breakfast served by hardworking folks, this is the place.
This place is alright the waitress was nice too. But im here because of the food the food wasent really good. But thats mostly it.
