I've eaten at a few of the Black Bear Diners , Humble , Katy and Sugarland locations . The one big thing in common is that they have a great menu , the food is always great , always hot , fresh and delicious ! I've had the breakfasts and the lunches . It seems that You just can't go wrong at Black Bear Diners ! If you love good pancakes , their pancakes are so much better and tastier than other places . Their burgers are big and delicious . Come try it out !
Coming back from a doctor appointment, and debating on what we would like to eat, mention several different restaurants and finally settled on black bear ,set on the counter, and Quinton the server took our order ,I ordered all you can eat fish which they have on Friday, and my wife had breakfast everything was perfect just like in the pictures you normally see on menus but your food never looks like that when it's served, the bacon was thick and cooked just right the eggs were perfect, hash browns were crispy but not dry , s... read more
Everything tasted great. I tried the huckleberry lemonade and ScramBowl. My brother has Hobo omelet. The biscuits are HUGE! It's set up just like an other diner. There's bear trinkets and gifts for purchase. It kind of gives me the vibe of a Cracker Barrel. Service was bit slow but that was to be expected for how busy it was. Customers kept coming. That's speaks a lot to the food quality. Our server was nice and checked on us as much as he could.
The food is always so good at this location! And don't worry, you'll get your fill. The portions are plentiful . Bear sized! My waiter Q was friendly, but not overly attentive.
Israel really made our day with his humor and he provided really good service, he was really nice. The food was delicous and filling.
Been here multiple times and always came out happ ( biannca is so nice!) an they have so many options of food I never seen this big of a menu awards been treats with kindness!
Israel was very pleasant, and the food was exceptional! It was impressive to see the manager actively sweeping, clearing tables, and engaging with guests, even taking the time to check in on us.
The food had great taste but it was cold. A bit disappointing to receive French toast and pancakes that weren't warm enough to melt butter. The hash browns, again crispy and tasty but cold. It's tough to give a better rating when the food feels like it's been sitting in the window for 10 minutes.
Food was great. Catherine was very helpful & attentive to our needs. The biscuits are HUGE here. Good place to bring your family. -- Sugar Land -
