The food is pretty good, service is good, but the smell is bad. My family and I went there recently, and the room to the left smells really bad like a sewer. For sure something is wrong with the pipes. Luckily we were weren't seated there, but the smell lingers through the whole restaurant. It's just not as strong in the main dining area than in the first dining room. This isn't a new thing. My husband and I went there in October and it still smelled like sewage, just not as strong. I dont know what to say, just absolutley love this place, but man, this was a terrible experience, our food took so long to come out... everyone looked so down. normally the staff is so, up, energetic. I was told there was a management change. I normally get a senior discount, for the last 3 years! and i was told no today. I guess we are not welcome. No more at this location. Just dissapointing.

I have been eating at black bear diner for more than a year now and I always get a senior discount but I was told today that there is new management in place and they will no longer give senior discounts. That is absolutely ridiculous. Horrible management team, Never going back .
