This is the third time I've walked out after waiting over 15 minutes just to place a drink order for a party of four. I understand when restaurants are busy, but this seems like a staffing issue, one server handling all the front-of-house duties is unacceptable and that means tables, greeting, seating, charging them and running the food. The last two Saturdays, I arrived early (8-8:30 AM) and saw the same problem: one overwhelmed server, food sitting unserved, and tables waiting too long for drinks. Meh. Basically a Denny's. I read rave reviews about this place- apparently it has a following up north. But it's nothing special. Typical high sodium, diner-type food.

Under new management???? We were here last night for a comedy show (which wasn't funny in the least, but was LOUD)... Michael was the only waiter for the entire show, which was full, as well as the only waiter for the restaurant, which meant everyone had to wait an extraordinarily long time for their order to be taken & served. But Michael was really helpful, friendly, & apologetic. At one point I got up & went into the restaurant to purchase my own drink... Under new management???? We were here last night for a comedy show (which wasn't funny in the least, but was LOUD)... I've eaten here twice in the last month once breakfast and diner both horrible. They can't get eggs done correctly or toast bread and I asked for well done fries and they come back soggy. They promised to send me some sort of a coupon for a meal in the mail and never received it. I suggest Peat's breakfast house, 126 cafe even Henri's cafe..

Went Friday night and ordered the all you can eat fish The fish was over cooked (to my liking) the Cole slaw was OK. French fries were good. The hush puppies were so large they weren't cooked still doughy in the middle. What little I could eat was good. Service was slow but everyone was nice.
