Under new management???? We were here last night for a comedy show (which wasn't funny in the least, but was LOUD)... Michael was the only waiter for the entire show, which was full, as well as the only waiter for the restaurant, which meant everyone had to wait an extraordinarily long time for their order to be taken & served. But Michael was really helpful, friendly, & apologetic. At one point I got up & went into the restaurant to purchase my own drink... Thankfully we didn't order food, as most of the plated orders w... read more

I've eaten here twice in the last month once breakfast and diner both horrible. They can't get eggs done correctly or toast bread and I asked for well done fries and they come back soggy. They promised to send me some sort of a coupon for a meal in the mail and never received it. I suggest Peat's breakfast house, 126 cafe even Henri's cafe..

Went Friday night and ordered the all you can eat fish The fish was over cooked (to my liking) the Cole slaw was OK. French fries were good. The hush puppies were so large they weren't cooked still doughy in the middle. What little I could eat was good. Service was slow but everyone was nice.

This time I ordered the Reuben. What kind of meat was that? , because it sure was not corned beef. The meat looked and tasted old nothing like fresh corned beef. I was up all night getting sick. I've been to Black Bear Diners before and I was not served old meat in a sandwich. Then they rushed us to pay our bill and rushed us out. Last time I will ever come to this location. Who ever is managing or running this place needs to be trained as well as the chef putting out old meat in his sandwiches. I emailed the owner like her... read more

I recently had lunch at this location. The hostess was super prompt and friendly... to everyone but us. My waitress Cheryl was attentive, kind, courteous and totally on top of things... for everyone but us. If she put as much effort into assisting us as she did in ensuring I knew her name, maybe she would have received a tip. Had she not been ridiculously rude about the items I ordered, or about my request for a box, I might not be making this post. I've been to this location before without my husband and had a ple... read more
