In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Their mission was simple: create a fun and friendly atmosphere where the local community could enjoy huge portions of home-style cooking at a reasonable price. Our group meets here every month. Always good food with generous portions. The accommodations offer everything we need and the service is excellent. We had a larger turn out than expected tonight and the staff was super friendly and efficient. Shout out to Maddie, Scott and Michael. Great teamwork!

Ordered through Uber Eats. Too expensive for what was ordered. The food was okay, nothing special. Ordered Sunday brunch for two and we were both disappointed.

Went here for breakfast for the last day of my vacation, Didn't get much due to having to get on the road but the stuff I got which was 2 Cub grilled cheese which luckily I got there in time for the 11 Am free strawberry or sundae, either way the fries I got with it were decent, the grilled cheese was good, I picked strawberry's for both grilled cheese deals But only got them after I ate everything due to the service Being a bit slow and forgetting it but other than that the price at this place is cheap. This place is so cute when you walk in. So fun. We got seated right away at a booth across from the counter & kitchen. Server was very sweet. Madison I think was her name. She took good care of us. There was a little girl at the counter by herself. But she had a DOG with her. On a leash. The dog was running around, got away from the girl several times and ran past us through the restaurant toward the door. It was extremely distracting as we were trying to relax after a very busy day.
