We really loved dining at Black bear. From the moment we arrived until we left, everything was very well handled. I appreciate the team for putting together such a good experience. The food was delicious I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Thanks again to Manny the supervisor for the amazing service and the delicious recommendations.

Black Bear Diner is a very infamous restaurant in Ventura that I couldn't wait to try. Although I had some doubts because there were rumors of rats infesting in the kitchen, but boy I do not give a good god damn! That food tasted just like heaven, and I would know what heaven tastes like as a Christian woman from the South. I went in for my free breakfast that they sent me for my birthday and ended up having a very long stay with delicious food, in a very comfortable environment. My gal pal and I ended up sitting there for 4 hours drinking coffee and just talking. it's quite a sweet location with great service. The manager is quite a gentleman and super gracious. Wish they had more vegan options. But happy to go to a place that cares about their guests.

Food was great, and the kid's meal is such a good value! I had the small pot roast and it was super tender and delicious. Our waiter, Scott was so knowledgeable and kind. He was busy, but very attentive and friendly throughout. He made the experience really great!
