It was good service, the food was hot, and most of all the people that work there has good attitudes.
I have been to several different locations and always found the food to be really good. Unfortunately this West Valley location does not stand up to the standards I was used to. I have been there 3 times and each time felt that the service was not that great with 3 different people taking care of our table and felt like one was not communicating to the other what our needs were. i have been going to west valley black bear since thay open sometimes it was really good other time not so good friday i ordered the corn beef and hash when it came the plate was full of hash browns and a very very small portion of corn beef all i could say to the waitress really and then she walk off and what i got was very dry ( i have had this several time and it was nothing like this ) this was the worst meal i ever had there

I am being nice with a 2 star rating. I have been there 4 times.. That's 3 times too many. First time I went I took my daughter for breakfast. They were super busy. That was fine. But the food... Pancakes were burned.. Rest of meal was luke warm. Went back 3 different times with my family. One time the sandwich was great.. The fries suck all the time. Went 2 weeks ago with my husband.. Only because he wanted to go. Host had no clue where to seat us, first words out of the waitress' mouth: "I hope you are my last table." righ... read more
This was not the first time I went there and was not impressed. I went there today and my hamburger was so dry and our waiter was rushing us to leave he was also was not vary respectful. So that's why I give it a 2 ★i would give it a 1 but I had a ice cream and it was really good so that the only reason why you get a 2 .

My husband and I usually go to the Jordan landing location and love it. They are so friendly and on top of everything. Our daughter has autism and a sensory processing disorder. We forgot food she could handle one time and the staff was very helpful showing us soft foods they could serve her. Then we went to West valley with the family. The server was not very nice to start with. She seemed to rush us from the start. My husband ordered a sandwich that seemed pretty simple.
