We pull up. The parking lot was empty. Another couple arrived alongside us. The restaurant inside was empty. It was very clean. The server was nice. I asked her to recommend something because I didn't know what to get. Everything looked amazing on the menu. I have been to another location in Las Vegas. That was delicious. This location needs attention!! It was between the Fish tacos and the beef stroganoff. I had the waitress choose for me and she picked the stroganoff, as the waitress was putting the stroganoff down. I wanted to give this restaurant a try but oh my, Tables dont get cleaned, I made a reservation, arrived, got seated, and nobody came to take care of my family and I in over 25 minutes and even after, my wife requested five more minutes to order her food and they took again nearly 30 minutes, respectfully i wanted to give this restaurant the benefit of the doubt but im sorry this is unacceptable. Time management and good service out the door!!! Worst part is they weren't even packed, restaurant was almost empty!!!

I gave it one star because it was the only way to leave a review. Went there for breakfast today around 8am and it was beyond mediocre. The food overall wasn't very good. And the service left a lot to be desired. The waitress took our order and that was the last time she came by the table. At the time there were only 3 tables occupied so we don't understand how she could be so busy. The hash browns were raw and oily. And the pancakes were not good. The food tasted like it had been sitting in the kitchen all afternoon. I have been to The Black Bear in NV. and AZ. The food here needed to be better. The service was good. Ambiance--screaming kids.
We just ate at Black Bear and found it less than mediocre. Prime rib was mushy and seared on one side, so assuming it was sous vide prior, then reheated. "Jus" was like colored water. Also over marinated. Baked potato was dry and toppings were cheese (lost in the crack) and bacon (large clunky squares). The other dinner was Tri tip and mashed potatoes with gravy and onion rings Meat also over marinated and mushy textured. I wish you could leave zero stars.One word to describe this place - unBEARable. Horrible service and a very rude waitress who behaved as if her poor service was somehow our fault. Two tables and some people waiting to just be acknowledged at the front left the place after being ignored for over 15 minutes. Look, if you're shortstaffed and things are taking longer, it's fine, but let people know instead of making them wait for ages to take their order, bring utensils, and get their food. Been here over 10 times in 2-3 months. Service is 9 times out of ten, Awful.... One out of the ten times, Shauna was our server. Attentive, positive, and good service from her. Not sure what's going on with the other servers.....Food is usually a 10/10. If there is a wait when it's slow, the establishment is probably understaffed. I would look into better staffing and better training for servers. Will likely return and just tip cooks at this point.

My experience at this location was disappointing and shocking. When Ordering I suggested the Manager take our order since he (Frank) was already at our table greeting us. I asked him how the quality was of their Meatloaf on the menu. Frank assured me that it was delicious. So I asked for a sample taste. The meatloaf taste like mushy soft canned meat covered in . DEFINITELY NOT meatloaf. Chicken salad came with 1 baby chicken strip. Then they attempted to charge us for a extra strip on the fully plated salad. I was told by the David that he was Instructed Not to give me the corporate number. Just rude and bad service for my first experience there. Very disappointing but the decor is nice.
