We have had all good experiences here. We love breakfast, and for lunch or dinners, we grab the big Cobb salad. It's our favorite. Last we were there, our server was Sherri P. and she was excellent. Super attentive and rediculously nice.
I visited the Black Bear Diner with my family and had a great experience. The diner is super quaint and clean! Our server Sam was excellent! She was super friendly and attentive. We noticed the restaurant was short handed at a busy time and Sam was poised and quick to help all of her tables in a timely manner. There was a great selection of food on the menu and we enjoyed every bite of what was ordered. I will be sure to revisit the diner on my next trip to Joshua Tree!
This was my first time dining at Black Bear Dinner, Our waitress Amanda is truly amazing, she made the experience fantastic, she is friendly, knowledgeable , caring & kind & she is right there for you. .Amanda made my first experience at Black Bear a memorable one. Thank you so much, Amanda. The cheesecake to go was absolutely wonderful as well as my omelette & your service. The food was excellent, I definitely would recommend this restaurant to everyone

My husband and I dined here last Sunday morning. We asked if we could sit at the bar and have some coffee while we waited for a table. As soon as we sat down our wonderful server Yessy greeted us with a smile and polite conversation she took our order right away and within 10 minutes our food arrived. We had the very delicious pot roast. Better than the food was Yessy's service. We will come back here just because of her. Managers take note she is great. Thanks Yessy
Service was great! They were very busy with a group in the larger dining room. (10am Sunday) Food came out hot and delicious! I had the chicken sausage with spinach and mushrooms. Excellent!! I give Elyss two thumbs up. Made dining a better experience!
Sherri was great! The surf and turf was very good, the meat is excellent and the shrimp are well done. Nice facility and staff!
Our experience today was outstanding Sherri our server was fast , friendly and wonderful. We will see you again soon
