Blue Frog told them no service charge to come out, then found out it was the pilot light that was out, they said $125, she said you said no trip charge, did you at least light the pilot light? they said no, she convinced them to light the pilot light and they dropped it to $75
does not communicate changes to schedule. did not cleanup properly after work. added cover to pipes only after city inspection failed damaged phone/cable line of neighbor
Trent came out and used the snake. When finished, he showed me the snake, saying it is mud from a broken pipe. There was no mud, just stuff marks. He then ran the camera, and we could not see any broken pipe nor mud. He went as for as to wrote it in his conclusion that it is clogged by mud. The reason he lied was to offer me an 8,000.00 job to dig under the house to repair a pipe that is not broken. He proceeded to offer me financing. The good is, they were definitely professional and reliable the bad is they?re kind of expensive for what they do. For example, I asked them to come out to fix a water heater and they came out there and saw that there was no outlet for the water heater and they charge me $250 just to say that there was no outlet there. seems a bit excessive for doing nothing. i would understand like a $75 trip fee but anyways I imagine your other fees are probably that high as well. Paid Bluefrog Plumbing over $800 to locate a water leak. Although they never found the leak, they cut a large hole in my bathroom wall that I now have to pay someone to repair. It appears their business model is to get the plumber out to the job, do some minor work, regardless of if it solves the problem or not and bill you for the work you didn't need in the first place. This company didn't provide repair options to me, instead, technician only suggested me to pay big money to replace the whole pipes for the house.
They selected the date and time based on their availability. Then failed to show up. Called one hour after scheduled time seeking to reschedule and I declined. They stated it was due to COVID but the appointment was for 1 pm and they did have issue until then to notify me in advance. Do not think they were truthful and only attempting to avoid bad review. Will never use or recommend them or Angi.
