This is a lengthy review but I urge you, from a dedicated BMW Advantage customer - to take into consideration the insulting and dangerous situation I was placed in. I took my X5 to Midtown to have my 4 tires replaced because they had them in stock instead of my usual location, Clearlake. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone! I purchased a car with them and less than a month later the brakes were bad. I spoke with the managers and they continued to push the book! This week I had two flats on the car and the wheel lock key wasn’t in the car(who thinks to look for that on a CPO vehicle)? Once again I spoke with manager and he explains that it’s nothing he can do about it. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.
I made a 7am appointment a week ago for a routine oil change. I’m being told I will be here 3 hours!
Purchased vehicle a year ago and they have maintained Valet service as promised.
Took them 4 hours to replace 4 tires and do an alignment on my x3, after that they parked the car in one of their lots and couldn't find it for 30 minutes!! Seemed super disorganized today for some reason! This visit was a disappointment compared to last few visits. If it wasn't for the nice service advisor, I would've gone bullistic on them for the poor service. And it did not end there, one of the rims has an extra scuff mark from where they pushed new tire against the rim, did not notice until I got home.
This is our second bad experience with the service department! Both times the service for which we took in our BMW was not actually performed and we had to go back a second time to get them to do the work. This time we asked to have our tires rotated and paid $99 for this work to be done. They rotated the front tires and not the back tires! Well done. I recently purchased a pre-owned BMW 535 M Sport. Just had the car in for its first service and was a little surprised by the bill/recommendations. Completed an oil change/vehicle check which after 4000 miles/3 months I can live with but I am being told that I need to replace the tires ASAP (service reported 2/32 remaining on rear tires). Spent $4975 “fixing” the ABS brake system on a 335i. Driving home from the dealership the entire dashboard lit up with “DSC” warning lights and the steering almost locked up. Now I have to drive it back in this condition so they “can take another look at it”
