Took my BMW X5 4.8 for recall 13V-045, came in at 8:30 aprox, after waiting for about three hours the advisor came and told me my car was ready, they are washing it, he finally gave me the keys and said i am all set, walking to my car i notice my rims were damaged, took a closer look and saw it was indeed damaged and covered very poorly with black stuff, I notified the advisor and he came and told me the rims was like that when I brought the car in, and there is nothing I can do about it, the manager came out and told me I w... read more

There is no better way of describing this dealership except to say that for years they ripped us off. I will provide one example. Our vehicle was a 2004 X3. We brought the car in for service and they informed me that I was leaking oil from the valve cover. The cost for the repair was a close to $1,000. I explained to the representative that the car is old and that we would only be willing to do the repair if he can guarantee this would fix the problem. Tony Mancuso was deceiving during the sales process. I live in Wisconsin so during the conversation Mr Mancuso offered to inspect the vehicle in detail and provide me with details as to the vehicle's condition. This approach is something I have read on the internet that out of town buyers have used successfully. I was a bit apprehensive and mentioned that I could also contract a third party inspector. There is a woman who schedules appointments and answers the phones for the service department. She has dark hair, and her name is Sandra (or Sandy). She is very nasty and passive aggressive. She kept me waiting when the service man I was supposed to talk to was free and available. He was the one who had to tell her to send me over. Then we often had to deal with her on the phone. This is for the Parts Dept. I drove about 1 hour out of my way to go pick up a BMW jack set that I saw on BMW.com. When I called and asked for it they said it was available for me to pick it up. i get there no one is at the Parts counter for about 10 minutes. Finally, Ben shows up I tell him what I'm there for and he asks for my info which I didn't understand because I was a walk-in I didn't order it. I offered a price for a 2008 BMW X3 that the sales person didn’t like. The sales person told me that if her manager heard that price, “He will throw me out of the dealer”. What she said was neither polite nor indicative of any good customer service or social skills. I walked out of the dealer without saying a word because I was shocked. I have another BMW that I used to service in this place; I will never go to this place anymore and will tell all my family members and friends not to go there either.

STAY AWAY from this service dept! I took my car in for a sound recall and tire repair and now the inside of my car squeaks and the radio still doesn't work. I made another appt for a saturday morning. When I showed up they said they don't do "that type of work" on Saturdays. I've wasted a day during the visit, a Saturday morning and now I'm going to have to go back AGAIN for a 3rd time. After my survey that I filled out, I got a call from JMK for a follow up. Experiences bringing the car for service has been always kind of mediocre. The maintenance department crew do not perform its job to the fullest. Car must brought back to finalize the service requested. It has been happening a few times, and I am not satisfied with the service given.

Some time ago, after I hit a deer, JMK BMW did the necessary body work and charged me $5,000. Shortly thereafter, I noticed that the headlight on the damaged side of the car appeared not to shine as brightly as the other headlight, but it didn't bother me, so I didn't take the car back immediately. However, when my car came up for state inspection, it failed the inspection because of the headlight issue.
