"warranty service " Car in for routine service to check out anything under warranty that may have needed attention. I received an oil and filter change and new wipers. The only thing I would comment in a less than positive way about was when I checked out and paid my bill, I had to ask the cashier to explain what exactly was serviced on my car and she was unable to do so.
"Bad service experience " Worked in rear view mirror. Didn’t fix it. The cover fell on my lap on the way home. Changed oil. Oil all over my car. Wiped out all my settings in the car.
"Wheel Package and Alignment" We plan to buy another new BMW. However after our experience yesterday we will not buy from Mainline BMW. With the purchase of my 5series in 2013 I purchased a wheel package. Since my wheels were pulling I asked to again fix the rims and correct the alignment. I was told (1) my wheel package expired without notification. (2) and since my rims were causing the pull of the steering I should BUY new rims for $4000. (3) in the past I have had BMW fix up my rims for less than $1000. No other options ... read more
"Service: pleasant but incompetent " I have been a customer of BMW of the Main Line for more than 10 years, and I am on my third BMW. I come back because their location is convenient for me, but their service is consistently awful. I don’t think I have ever brought my car in for a problem that has been fixed correctly the first time. This dealership definitely needs improvement. I have never seen a place that doesn't call back and shows 0 interest in selling a car. If you want to waste your time make sure to ask for Peter Ryan. Typical used car salesman. Summary, if you feel like wasting your time, then this dealership is for you.
I called Bill Sampson my service advisor about a low speed driveline shudder in my '15 M235Xi (10k mi) which went away at 10mph. Bill told me to bring it over. I was sent out with Vic who felt the same problem. I left the car and was called the next day by Bill who said that my AWD transfer case had failed. They installed the new case under warranty and all seems to be OK. Thanks Bill,Vic and the service department at Main Line BMW.
Joe Serock, GM is deleting negative comments on posts. They scammed me after buying 2 premium cars in 2 years and have made multiple referrals. NOW they get negative feedback and they delete it. BEWARE. Check yelp + google reviews in the next day for uploads of email correspondence. Already in contact with MINI corporate and they are shocked
Was a customer here for about one year and over $10,000 but I'm finally fed up, I will be taking my business to VAC motorsports. I think some of the service staff here at BMW of the Main Line may be fine, but bad luck I got assigned twice to Zack Everett, a callous, dishonest and aloof individual who I would hope you never have the displeasure of dealing with. I purchased a car from here and months later I'm having to deal with lost license plate from a trade in car - when I went to update my insurance I was told I didn't have insurance to this car and I've been getting violations mailed to me for the violations this license plate is getting. Do not believe it when they say they'll "take care of everything" -be sure your insurance is in tact and take your old license plate!
