I had an alignment done. When I drove off the lot, the alignment was noticeably off. I returned after just one commute to work. They were booked, so they scheduled me for a month and a half later. When I arrived, they used the passage of time to deny their guarantee to their work. They charged me for a second alignment. They found a problem, which they fixed, then charged me for a THIRD alignment. Total cost to get an alignment: about $585
I took my 535XI to be checked at this dealership due to a message coming from the computer: “high battery drain.” The service advisor, Mr. Beaver Ho, assured me after his techs had spent more than an hour investigating, that the issue was due to an “IBS cable” and that it would cost $650.00 to replace it. I point blank asked if he was completely sure that cable would solve the problem and I was told “it sure will”. After all, I certainly wouldn’t OK a costly repair that was a “maybe.” So based on that assurance I sanctioned ... read more
I came here for the first time Saturday 6/28/14 for a simple oil change (which ended up costing $225). Came home with 4 ruined wheels, clear coat on all 4 wheels stripped in patches. Service Manager Scott Cascone was no help denying any wrong doing by them but thanks for offering a quote to have them refinished. Ridiculous!
BMW Rockview is a very good BMW dealer shop if you want to purchase a car or do regular maintenance service. When I was living in MD during 2011-13, this was the place I got maintenance for my 328, and i had been very satisfied with their services. In mid 2013, I was going to relocate back to CA, so I planned to sell my car. And because I want to sell it quick and don't want all the hassle that usually come along with selling a car to third- party dealers, so I choose to sell back to BMW dealership. Based on my previous over... read more
The BMW Collision Center of Rockville (BMWCCR)--apparently affiliated with VOB of Rockville--was the worst repair shop I have ever encountered. You may think that BMW associated companies provide at least a modicum of quality service, then you have never been involved with BMWCCR. Not only did they take more than a month to repair a simple dent, but they constantly told me that the car would be done "for certain" on a particular day, only to tell me differently late on the day I was supposed to pick the car up. I don't know ... read more
Avoid. My experience was terrible at BMW Rockville. 2 months ago we ordered a BMW from this dealership. At the time the sales person was Alexander and we agreed upon a price with the general sales manager Nicholas. When they took the deposit I sent the credit card via text message to the sales person. I stated if you are going to authorize $1000 you agree on 585 a month and he replied with yes. The card was charged $1000. Everything seemed good to go and we were just waiting for the car to arrive (new model). 2 months after ... read more
Absolutely terrible service in both service and sales departments. Sales staff have no idea what cars they have In inventory. Both sales and service techs act like they are doing me a favor speaking to me, even when repairing my car. They also scratched my bumper and refuse to fix it. I am very unhappy with my experience here and I would not recommend using this dealer for service or sales.
The sales staff and management do not take responsibility for dealership mistakes or issues raised by customers. They also do no operate in good faith making it difficult to trust what they say or they say they will do. They also seemed more concerned with nickle and diming DC customers over residential parking on the DC permits. I had to contact DC DMV my self and pay for a registration with parking for the zone I live in. This is after paying the dealership to do the same and being given the run around my the sales person ... read more
Worst Service Experience Ever!!! I recently brought my X5 in for service. At the beginning of the service I specifically asked for them to look at the rear passenger tire and it was leaking air. When I was called to come and pick up the car I asked about the tire. I was told that it had been checked and there was nothing wrong with the tire. The Service Rep said maybe it was a loose valve. I drove away with the peace of mind that everything had been checked. However within a week I noticed that the tired was leaking. I broug... read more
