I have leased 2 vehicles from this dealership and will probably lease another one because of the staff and quality of service. I recommend anyone looking to purchase or lease a vehicle to seriously consider Smithtown BMW.

If I could give a rating of zero stars I would. My overall experience was good until (unfortunately) we met the sales manager, Bob. He was very unprofessional and rude. The manner in how the manager spoke to my husband and myself, as well as the sales associate (doesn't even seem to have respect for his colleague) resulted in the end of any purchase with this dealership. This experience has totally turned me away from BMW.

I had a poor experience at BMW of Smithtown/ st James. I came in on a Sunday. I was given multiple quotes on two vehicles & multiple down payments, when I was told initially I wouldn't need to put any money down. After multiple calls from the dealership asking me to come back in, I still walked out without a new vehicle. The sales person was unprofessional. The manager was discourteous & unpolished. I was stunned.

I ordered my BMW 2016 X- line,X drive X5 35i. X-line car front and the back bumper should be silver chrome, but When I got the car I found it's black plastic made. It's the same as basic line. I paid xtra but the only give me black wheal and running board. I keep calling them, they even don't answer me, always busy.

Attempted to purchase a 2013 CPO BMW 550ix. Salesperson failed to provide maintenance records despite my multiple requests. Flew 1300 miles to their dealership. Car wasn't ready. Left waiting for over 2 hours with no explanation. When I told them I wanted to see the car, salesperson told me it would be ready "shortly". When I asked why the car wasn't ready, salesperson indicated "everything was okay." No member of management even attempted to welcome me or to clarify and appease me for the major delay. My lease was up, so I came back in to order another car. This would be my 4th lease, but my first time dealing with Helga. It is a good thing that I knew the dealership, or I would have cancelled my car after dealing with Helga on the phone. For my previous leases, and my husband's purchase and lease, I had dealt with another financial person. Helga was beyond awful. All BMW's are made the same way,the dealerships are not. This dealership is the best I have dealt with. The sales force, service and especially the response to customer phone calls make Competition the place to buy a car.
I bought an $80k m4 and this guy was a royal xxxxxxx! The dealership is great, but if you get this guy, (that's if they don't fire him, as I suggested) word of advice for you: ask for another salesperson! I got Theresa Pierro to finish my deal and she was SO polite and VERY professional.
