Service on my 2013 328I My car was scheduled to be return on Monday. Service rep was out of the office on Monday. No one called me. My car needed more repairs and they need my approval. I called on Tuesday and asked for the Manager. He was very rude to me. His response was my representative was out of the office because, his wife was having a baby. What a difficult survey Thanks Walt! I?m glad to complete the survey but to require a minimum of characters to do so is ridiculous.
Unscrupulous finance manager Everything was going smooth until we started dealing with the slime ball finance manager that tried to sell us every product under the sun and had the audacity to say that we will be fined by BMW if we didn’t purchase these unnecessary products. He even stated it is Florida law, we will see about that after I call the Florida attorney generals office. I know it is buyer be ware but this takes things to the next level.
Last minute service Called to have rear cup holders replaced. Took about 45minutes
Horrible CUSTOMER SERVICE I was told by a salesman that if I find a vehicle on sonic automotive they would bring down here for me, no matter where it is. I went into this dealership five days later. Not only did they low ball my trade by $4000 but heavily inflated shipping to $1300.00. I left, insulted. I called dealership directly in VA, treated like gold, got that $4000 more on my trade verified by local car max and paid only $500 to ship vehicle. A house of scammers Purchased my 08 m3 on 08/18/18. I drove from pompano beach, florida to pick up this vehicle. When we got there it was just transfered from another dealer so the check engine light was on. So they give us a rental for the week till the car is repaired. Next saturday the 25th we drive back up to get the car. The check engine light was still on but they were saying that the problem was fixed and they just forgot to clear the code. BMW Service-not so much Fact: car was serviced by BMW on April 27, 2018. Oil was changed, leaking coolant hoe was replaced, recall was repaired. Fact: April 30, 2018 the engine seized Fact: car was towed to BMW Fact: 4 days later I was notified of the seized engine. I was told there was metal shavings in the oil filter. I was told it could have been a faulty fuel injector or broken bearing rod. Fact: at no point in time did BMW ask me what happened during the initial breakdown. BMW X5 When I took My BMW X-5 in for warranty work, they gave me a Kia Optima from Hertz rent- a -car instead of an equal, that was only half the problem. 1 month later the rental fee was charged to my debit card that I left on file with them for fuel and incidentals. This caused my bank account to be overdrawn and fees incurred to borrow money to pay this. I would never expect this from any BMW dealer.
