Marc Cleary is the reason I did not continue to do business with South Bay. He was rude and condescending to me on the phone and acted like I was bothering him.. I told him exactly what I wanted and he proceeded to try to convince me I wanted something else. Totally unacceptable. I’ve since moved on and leased from another dealer.
Christian has no Integrity. He was going to buy my X2 and because I didn’t like him and didn’t want to work with him, he said he bought five x2’s and didn’t need my car. Where is his Integrity?? Very Childish for a man. I’ve been a BM W owner for over 20 yrs and BMW just treated me like I don’t matter. Very, very disappointed.
Brad seemed like a nice guy. He returned my Phone call regarding Christian buying my X2. My lease was up. I called Brad back leaving a voicemail that I didn’t like Christian or working with him. I wanted to work with Brad I was more comfortable with him. Christian was arrogant and cold. Brad never called me back and went to Christian and told him I don’t like him. So when I went in to see Christian he acted like a child and refused to help me. Thank you Brad for turning on a long time customer and helping ruin my experience ... read more
If I could give a MINUS any number, I would! Picked up car yesterday and now problems again! The Vehicle is a used 2013 X3, which I have had for 5 months from Nash auto in Costa Mesa. Two weeks ago, I was on the freeway and info on the screen stated issues with the oil pump. I continued to drive and then a message flashed on the screen stating ' DRIVE TRAIN MALFUNCTION. DRIVE MODERATELY.' A few seconds later the car screen indicated the car would shut down in approximately 30 seconds! I had to quickly, and dangerously, exit ... read more
My rating is for the service department, specifically the technician working on my car. My actual service advisor is the best. He restored my trust in South Bay BMW prior to this situation. My car recently went in for a warranty repair and during the visit, my car notified me of a incident. Although someone unplugged my dash cameras, they still record if someone hits the car, triggers the alarm etc. Once I was able to download the video, I watched the technician open my hood and allowed it to hit the car above where it reste... read more

Doesn’t deal with outer state customers, not happy at all they really need to
I must say this is probably the worst BWM experience that I have had to date. The bar was already pretty low working with these dealerships. There is no transparency here. The experience feels like they are just hustling cars. Don't bother asking how they arrived at the price because as my sales person said, we are not able to share that. We were like its taxes and fees you should be able to give us completely visibility to what we are paying for -- can't be done at this dealership. Drive off increased to over $1000 because ... read more
"I recently had a horrific experience with South Bay BMW..." I recently had a horrific experience with South Bay BMW customer service .... I was returning a loaner car (also after being told after almost 100k miles my X5- which is under warranty until 100k miles - still didn't need new brakes - which would be covered under warranty-- I highly doubt I don't need new brakes after driving 100k miles- and think BMW just doesn't want to replace them under warranty) However when I was returning a loaner car- I waited initially 90 ... read more
