Walked into the dealership knowing the exact options I wanted, but could afford only half of them. I let Howard know what I was looking for as a bare minimum and a list of options I'd like on top of that while staying within my budget. If I got every option on my list, the price of the car would be about $7000 more than my max budget, so I asked Howard to get me a car with my minimum criteria plus whatever other options he could get from my wish list, but he had to stay within my budget.
