This is my 3rd CPO BMW (after two CPO MB) and was, by far, the best experience. The dealership is 150+ miles from my home but the price, level of service, and ease of the transaction made the drive very much worth my time and effort. Much of the deal was completed over the phone and via e-mail... time at the dealership was limited to test drive and signatures. Seamless coordination between sales, management, finance and service. Highly recommended dealership.
The folks as Tischer were great, and I was a tricky customer because I was buying a present. Michael Bolgar, my salesman, worked very hard to advise me on the right car to pick out based on my spouse's current driving habits, preferences and vehicle. 3/4 of my experience with Tischer was very good especially compared to other dealership in MD. One problem I had initially is Tischer loves themselves, Even though we told the sales man that we wanted to see some cars as quickly as possible so we could still have the daylight he spend 30 minutes talking about what a great place Tischer was and by that time the sun was setting. I purchased a 2006 BMW X3 from Manny Baltimy and he was very courtous and responsive in obtaining a competitive price. After visiting several BMW dealers I found it a pleasure dealing with Manny. After driving it for several days the Service Engine Soon warning lamp came on and when taking it in I worked with Kerry Jones who was very responsive in resolving the problem and had me in and out in half an hour. I am looking forward to a good working relationship maintaining the car in the future with the company.
This is the second BMW purchased from this dealership -- they have always been courteous and fair in working to reach agreement on my trade in and the price of the new car. I enjoyed working with Mike Thompson, he is very knowledgable about the car and in demonstrating the features of the car, particularly the "I Drive" system. I purchased a BMW X3 from Mike Thompson and really liked working with him because, while he wasn't at all pushy, he was very knowledgeable about BMW. I've been looking for a car of over 2 months. I went to every BMW dealership in Maryland and Virginia before purchasing a car at Tischer. I received the best price on a used 2008 BMW 328I from Tischer. I also received a great price for my very old, well-used trade-in. My salesrep, Brian Cunningham, was very warm, friendly and helpful. My son and I had a great experience purchasing our car yesterday and I would highly recommend Brian and the rest of the staff of Tischer to anyone.
