I must say this was the best and smoothest vehicle purchase I have experienced. I purchased my 2007, 750LI BMW in January 2010. When I walked in the door at Tischer BMW in Silver Spring, MD, I saw the car I wanted to purchase. I walked over to the car and was checking it out, inside and out. When I arrived even though I was thoughtful enough to make an appointment with a sales advisor he spent most of the time with another customer who he said showed up without an appoitment. He sent me to another person who was to do the appraisal of my trade-in, who apparently thought since I was not purchasing a (6) series BMW that I was not worth his time. Overall it has been a positive experience. I was very happy when BMWNA picked up the tab for my subframe damage. Being a subframe repair, the dealership themselves did not handle the actual work - they had to send it to their bodyshop. On the dealer side of things, all was fantastic. Everything from the consultations, to the updates were top notch and prompt. Gannon rapidly helped find my car in their lot after the car was parked by someone in the wrong spot. UPDATE: 09/14/09 After months of waiting and diagnosing, my personal mechanic and I have found the issue. The body shop that did my subframe repair, "MileOne Collision Works" in Beltsville MD, connected my drive shaft completely wrong. It was out of time, over a quarter turn! Even a regular, un-trained folk like me knew it was out of time when seeing the obvious markings on how to align the drive shaft itself! Kailash is a good salesman and the price was right but I had to cancel my order because of very poor customer service otherwise. Not once was a phone call returned from the general manager or finance (I guess they're really busy). In addition it has been 3 weeks and my deposit has yet to be returned even though I've called 3 times and been told it would be in the mail the next day. I would've rated the dealership all 5's except for the negative experience my significant other & I had with Anthony (Finance). I cannot say enough about the outstanding service I received once I walked into the door to the moment I drove away in my new BMW. My salesman Sun went above and beyond to make sure we found the right vehicle to fit my needs and my budget. Unlike most dealerships that try to get you in any car they can as fast as they can, Tischer BMW did the opposite. This dealership rocks. Why I say that is coz, they may you feel at home the minute you walk in into this dealership. More importantly it all comes down to the sales man you get to work with. In my case, I give two thumbs up to Mr. Joshi. He seems to know what he tells his customer. The man is very easy to talk to. He carries good knowledge about BMW cars. I shopped my new 535 XI BMW pretty hard to all the local dealers. I knew exactly what I wanted and wasn't picky about where I was buying it. I always lease and was really looking to be in at a certain price. All of the dealers, except for Tischer, said it could not be done and were much higher than I needed to be. One even wanted me to go on his website, do all of the work, and he would get back to me. I never heard from one of them.
