Went here to celebrate a milestone birthday and had an outstanding meal! The service was great. The Maitre'D was delightful and my food was good. I wish there had been a few more dessert options, but... I was stuffed to the gills, so maybe dessert wasn't really necessary. ;) It was a great experience and I would definitely go back again.
We were there on the night of the first snow of the season. It was very quiet and slow as a result but I had made a reservation for my mom's birthday and the staff was seemingly on their "a" game. The manager sent us a round of Prosecco with birthday wishes shortly after we sat down, the servers were friendly, professional and incredibly attentive without us realizing they were there most of the time. From beginning to end --- great location, great service, wonderful food! I especially loved the popovers! Expensive---but for very special occasions, well worth it! My table was thrilled with the experience!
Bond 45 is a great choice for a special ocassion! The service provided was excellent and ambiance was outstanding! The filet mignon was marvelous and the server's suggestions to add crab meat and bernaise made it taste exquisite! Overall we had a great experience! We were celebrating my boyfriend's birthday and he absolutely loved it!!! Definitely recommend this place if you want to celebrate special occasion!!!
Three people in my group ordered steaks ribeye (2) and NY Strip. Attention to the cooking guide in the menu is a must. Two people requested medium and expected to have no pink meat, but the cooking guide says otherwise. The NY strip was returned for additional cooking. Servers mixed up the ribeye orders, so the medium was returned to get the order medium rare. I'm a "regular". My opinion: too pricey, particularly for the neighborhood, it is too dark inside and they need more outdoor seating or indoor seating with views. I do not recommend the risotto. They are still tweaking the menu so be prepared to lose a favorite dish if you find one. I've lost three so far. Except for the risotto, everything that I've tried I like. I took a group of clients out to dinner at Bond 45. It's on the water but it was dark so we really couldn't appreciate the view. The food and service was some of the best I've ever had. The staff was there when we needed them and the steaks were done perfectly. Wine list was extensive and not totally outrageous. First I would like to point out that I had a party of seven (7) and requested a window seat--and they made it happen! This dinner was for my birthday so it was great that we got to see Nation Harbor while we ate. The food was fantastic! I had the Crab Steak, which was a large crab cake but one of the best I ever had. The only complaint I had was our sever was not that great.
