I took a group of clients out to dinner at Bond 45. It's on the water but it was dark so we really couldn't appreciate the view. The food and service was some of the best I've ever had. The staff was there when we needed them and the steaks were done perfectly. Wine list was extensive and not totally outrageous. They even accomodated our request for a dessert sampler plate rather than individual orders. First I would like to point out that I had a party of seven (7) and requested a window seat--and they made it happen! This dinner was for my birthday so it was great that we got to see Nation Harbor while we ate. The food was fantastic! I had the Crab Steak, which was a large crab cake but one of the best I ever had. The only complaint I had was our sever was not that great. We were very please to have a "private" nook because of the infant and child in our party. The food was very good and the service was very accommodating. The menu is not, however, for those on a tight budget.
We have been to many great steakhouses all over the U.S., this was basically "ok", which for the price was disappointing. The bone in ribeye was bland and needed sslt and pepper, the filet was average, the cheese and hams for appetizers were unique and good. Service was weak and not attentive. We won't go back nor recommend. My neighbor went as well on different nite and said same, lot better choices in DC/VA.

This was an absolutely outstanding restaurant in every aspect. The food was fabulous and the service beyond exceptional. They accommodated my wishes of a view of the Potomac and treated my mother like the queen she is; it was her 75th birthday. I can't express how thrilled I was with everything! Five plus stars for BOND 45!
BOND 45 gave my wife and I a great dining exerience. The food was positively ambrosial and the atmosphere cozy. The staff did a great job with our anniversary.
We had a great time. Service and food were both outstanding.
