Horrible unattentive waiter. Was seated by the outdoor entry door and service area.
The food was absolutely terrible and not worth the price. They sat us in a room in the back and it was so hot. It wasn't until a server had just started a shift and turned the air on after we complained to our server it was to hot by that time we had finished our meal.
My husband and I ordered two different entrees that were both bad. His was chicken parmesan with peppers and sausage. It came out looking like a pizza. The chicken had been flattened and was round. the sauce was tasteless. I ordered the open face lasagna which was overcooked and crusty. We arrived for our reservation and no one was there to greet us. After waiting, wondering what was going on, and witnessing the group before express their disappointment with how long they’d been waiting, we were seated. Also discovered it was a buffet and very limited ala carte menu. No where on OpenTable or when the reservation made stated that it would be s buffet. Waiter was an uneducated immigrant who has no idea how to have a friendly conversation. When I asked him where he was originally from, he point blank said, “I don’t want to tell you.” I and my wife, who hails from Colombia, are fluent in Spanish, In fact, I lived and taught Health in El Salvador for 3 years and yet this Salvadoran had no interest in a friendly conversation about his country of origin. My sisters and I have come for the last 4 years to celebrate birthdays. This year was such a disappointment in service. The menu did not contain the family style meals that we loved in the past. The server assigned to our table was almost nonexistent except to take our order and deliver it. We asked for bread and it was never delivered. Bond 45 could be an good restaurant maybe it was my experience, But for the prices I’m paying I need for my service to be up to par with speed and a courtesy check in every few minutes. The food I need a bit more flavor not just extra salt!
The food was dry -lasagna- and the steak was over cooked. Food was way over priced for the quality we received.
I used to like going to Bond 45, especially before a race to do my carb overload. However, this last visit will be my last. From the moment we arrived the hostesses greeted us with disdain, I understand the restaurant was busy, but that is no excuse. She brought us to our a table, which still had nothing on it, we didn't have glasses or silverware.
