Food was ok. Service was non existent... I will never step foot in this restaurant again.
The restaurant is visually stunning!! Unfortunately, ambiance isn’t the main reason we go out to eat. Service was very slow. We had our appetizers before bread - I had to ask for bread. My dinner gnocchi was too dense. My husband ordered chicken parmigiana with sausage and peppers. It was Saturday, 6/22/19, and we planned a reunion lunch with my brother and his wife, whom we hadn’t seen since our father died in 2015. My husband and I were looking forward to a quiet conversation over a light lunch with them. I am sorry, I don't usually review but this meal should've been at least good for the price but it wasn't. The chicken parmigiana looks like a pizza and tastes bad. I think whatever they put on top, a dollop of cheese maybe, was spoiled. They are not kid friendly in the least, no kids menu or portions and no plastic cups, etc. Even though it was Father's Day it really wasn't packed at all, which should've been a sign for me, so why did it take over an hour to get our food? Service was slow. Said they were slow due to backup from brunch. Food mediocre. Gave an item that I requested to omit. Had to re-do. It was father’s day so the restaurant should have been prepared for higher than usual influx. Manager was dry and nonchalant in her apologies. Won’t go there again.
We told the hostess this was our anniversary. Even though we had a reservation and the restaurant had very few customers at 6:30 pm, the hostess planned to seat us inside at a little table with no view or ambiance next to another gentleman. We had to ask for a table with a window view. Horrible service took 5minutes for any one to acknowledge us, with me having to ask to be assisted. small selection of food choices, omelet bar worker was slow and passed me three times. They also gave us napkins with hair all over them, and dirty coffee mugs. Worst experience down at the harbor I have every had. Already told my friends don’t waste their time or money on that place
We went there for a double birthday dinner with reservations and were put out in a side room with no ventilation or air. We ordered the Lobster and crab ravioli and were very disappointed. Very small portion for an Italian restaurant. The food was not satisfying and very over priced for the amount we received. Hopefully the portions will change and the future patrons will be more satisfied. This was NOT by far the best $120 I have ever spent.
One of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. What was strange is that the food was actually fine, but the service and chaos with staff was terrible. Took 20 minutes to get first greeting at the table. Coke arrived 35 minutes after we actually sat down. Bread never came. Salad was missing ingredients from the menu. Server never came to check in after order arrived and apparently was fired or sent home during our time their from other complaints.
