They were out of "soup of the day", chicken parmigian, lasagne, BUTTER for bread and tarimisu...seriously?!
Didn’t eat there. Was our first time and they were out of the Chicken parmigiana so we were undecided. The waiter didn’t come back so we left.
THIS WAS PROBABLY MY 5TH VISIT TO THIS RESTAURANT AND EACH TIME THE LEVEL OF SERVICE HAS DECLINED. THIS WAS DEFINITELY MY LAST VISIT. I HAD BOOKED A RESERVATION ABOUT TWO WEEKS IN ADVANCE. WHEN I ARRIVED AT 4:15 I HAD ABOUT HALF OF MY PARTY WITH ME FOR A 4:30 RESERVATION AND WAS TOLD THAT I COULD NOT BE SEATED UNTIL MY ENTIRE PARTY WAS PRESENT. The service was slow and inattentive. The food was strangely over-salted.
Our reservation was at 7:15 on December 23rd. When we arrived, there was nobody at the front to take our name. It was very confusing because all the customers were waiting at the door not knowing what to do. Evidently, they were short staffed (2 days before Christmas). The staff was clearly stressed, the hostess finally appeared after about 10 minutes of waiting! She took the menus and started walking. My chicken parmigiana was the size of a small pizza. It was disgustingly scrumptious and I regret I could only demolish half of it.
The food and drink was sub par. The wait staff was not very nice.
A terrible dining experience. We’ve dined at Bond 45 before and always had a fabulous time. This visit was unpleasant. The waiters were curt, old and rushed our meal and us. My meal did not have the vegetables listed on the menu , which was one reason I ordered the dish. No one asked how our meal was. Expensive meal for 5 that we did not enjoy.
First time I ordered from here i loved it, decided to go back and was very disappointed. mashed potatoes were cold, steak was ok. felt rushed and waiter didn’t even ask if we wanted desert just stood behind our table waiting for us to pay.
