We were somewhat disappointed. For the price, the service was lacking. The menu was lacking as well. Their signature Tomahawk steak was "sold out" which we found to be unusual since we were seated early in the evening and the restaurant was far from crowded. As well, their lengthy dessert menu was paired down to only two items--tiramisu and gelato--because they were "sold out" of everything else. The food was bland and not good and very overpriced
Food was fair to poor. Chicken parm was over cooked, and an odd flattened plate sized disk. Others also stated their meals were fair, not well seasoned. Waiter forgot one person’s drink order completely, and was aggravated about requesting more than one check.
We were sat at a table right in the middle of the floor between the bar and walk way to the other tables on the other side of the restaurant. A lot of traffic was passing the table making it hard to be a romantic with my wife. We asked the hostess to move us and she said she would try but never did and avoided us the rest of the night. NY strip was cooked perfect, crab cake was all meat, but shrimp was horribly overcooked and only a few small pieces. I was not given a steak knife and the waiter didn't even come to the table to check on us for about 10 minutes after the person brought the food out. Poor service, mostly inattentive. Food was pricey, more than the type of place and location should have demanded, especially if shrimp can't even be cooked right.
Overall I was underwhelmed by this restaurant. We had reservations and upon arrival, the restaurant, which was empty, we were seated in the back like we were being hidden. Then we had the waiter from hell. He was weird, non-communicative and somewhat rude. He mumbled and was hard to understand. The special was Veal Parmigiana. My husband and I spent our Anniversary at Bond 45 and were quite disappointed. While they gave us a table with a waterview as requested, we were practically ignored otherwise. No dinner specials described, no bread served, no dessert offered, no question of whether the food was satisfactory, or acknowledgement of the special occassion........we spent over $250 for the most Blahhhh anniverasry dinner ever. We will not recommend it! Go to McKormick instead!
Server need help. Drink was ordered and never came. Hamburger was cold and over cooked
I gave a “2” rating because we waited almost 20 minutes for water & bread after being seated. Our server was a pleasure once he came over just took a really long time. We expected a higher level of service. Also, the bathroom very messy and not tended to at all. There was toilet tissue and paper towels all over the floor.
